Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew starts the new week with two recommended bets/trades at Catterick’s Flat fixture on Monday, May 13th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
CATTERICK 1.47
OBEE JO would have needed his comeback run when a respectable 33-1 fifth of 12 over course and distance on soft ground last month and looks worth a bet in this 15-runner apprentice handicap. Tim Easterby’s veteran arrived late to land this race on good ground 12 months ago and the recent dry spell is very much in his favour. His course record on officially good to soft or faster going in Class 4 or lower company, when returned to the track within four weeks of his latest start, stands at 11513178 (4-8) for a profit of £28.00 to a £1 level stake at SP. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back OBEE JO in Catterick 1.47
CATTERICK 4.47
Ruth Carr has done well with the handful of runners she’s sent to Catterick to contest a veterans’ handicap, recording form figures of 1261520 (2-7) and GHATHANFAR looks interesting in this 6f contest. The eight-year-old has the best of the draw in stall 1 and Jason Hart is back on board for the first time since last summer. He ran well at Windsor under Robert Havlin on last month’s reappearance, finishing third by a length and a half, form that was franked when the runner-up On Edge only went down by a short head when returned to the Windsor venue shortly afterwards. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back GHATHANFAR in Catterick 4.47
