SAMBA LADY has been off the track since a promising fourth at Windsor back in April but could go close if taking to Polytrack, while FAITHLESS INSOMNIA (2.50) can be forgiven her Chelmsford defeat earlier this month because of a slipped saddle. PRAISE OF SHADOWS (11.42) has scored just once from 21 starts but the Phil McEntee yard is in good form and the 16-1 shot might be able to grab a place.

WOLVERHAMPTON 8.00
Tapeta form is thin on the ground in this 9.4f handicap and it could be worth siding with Victor Dartnall’s LHEBAYEB despite her 14-race maiden status. She did second best of the closers when a one-length 11-1 fourth over 8.6f here last month and her only other course outing since patient tactics were adopted saw her finish a three-quarters of a length third over tonight’s trip. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
