Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew made a good profit by opposing 2-1 favourite DRAGONFRUIT (4th) at Sedgefield on Thursday and has two recommended bets/trades on Friday, November 10th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
EXETER 1.10
Harry Derham has done brilliantly since leaving Paul Nicholls and setting up on his own and has an especially good record at the first time of asking with horses he takes over from other trainers, scoring with nine of the 25 qualifiers for a profit of £52.17 to a £1 level stake at SP. Those figures include a six from 11 haul in handicaps (+£36.25), with the latest qualifier – Young Butler – winning at 7-1 at Newbury yesterday. JERSEY LADY, ex-Oliver Sherwood (who now has a role assisting Derham), should go well on her first run for the new set-up and can be bought in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
Recommendation: Back JERSEY LADY in Exeter 1.10
HEXHAM 2.10
Those near the head of the weights could prove vulnerable in this 1m7.5 handicap chase and a buy of DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER is the call. Top weight OVERCOURT is weak in the betting this morning and is far from certain to appreciate the cut back in trip having finished a close-up second over 2m4f here last time. Jimmy Moffatt has a great record at the first time of asking with horses he takes over from other yards and ONE MILL HARBOUR (number 2 on the racecard), ex-Lucinda Russell, won well at Carlisle on last month’s stable debut. However, Moffatt’s strike-rate declines considerably at second time of asking with recent acquisitions and this run might come too soon. Dan Skelton’s ARTEMIS KIMBO, number 3, might need the experience on his chase debut and those near the foot of the weights could come to the fore.
Recommendation: Buy DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER in Hexham 2.10
