The Jack Channon-trained DESPERATE HERO has form figures of 32418414427171911 (6-17) when returned to the track within five weeks of his latest outing and backing him blindly under these conditions could have returned a profit of £17.50 to a £1 level stake at SP. When racing between 14 and 35 days since his latest run his record improves to 2418414217111 (6-13) for a profit of £21.50. The four-year-old bolted up at Hamilton on his latest outing (35 days ago) and that race worked out supremely well, with five of his 14 rivals scoring at the next time of asking and three more finishing second.

SERAPHIM ANGEL (system – Queen Mary Stakes draw angle)
Generally speaking, a high draw is advantageous in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot and those runners drawn relatively low (stalls 1-12) often makes good bets at the next time of asking, regardless of where the finished at Ascot. Since 2017, simply backing those stall 1-12 runners next time out would have found 25 winners from 77 bets for a profit of £30.02 to a £1 level stake at SP. SERAPHIM ANGEL, 16th of 24 from stall 2 in that contest, can bounce back on her nursery debut.
