MAJOR DUNDEE (system – Alan King, first-time visor)
Alan King has a good record in the Classic Chase at Warwick and he also does well with his first-time visored runners, scoring with 18 of the 115 qualifiers (15.7%) for a profit of £37.27 to a £1 level stake at SP. MAJOR DUNDEE found the 2m7.5f trip on the sharp side when fifth to Nassalam at Chepstow last time and won the Midlands National when last tackling a marathon trip.
WARWICK 3.35
CYCLOP (system – David Dennis, veterans’ handicap chases)
David Dennis has a nine from 30 record in veterans’ handicap chases for a profit of £27.33 to a £1 level stake at SP. CYCLOP has form figures in these races of 111F33 (3-6) and might be able to reward each-way support at a big price (28-1 at the time of writing) in the veterans’ series final.
WOLVERHAMPTON 6.30
TEN O’CLOCK (system – Jamie Osborne, handicap debut)
since the beginning of 2017 Jamie Osborne is 23 from 174 with his handicap debutants (13.2% strike-rate) for a profit of £135.00 to a £1 level stake at SP. Three of the last six to run at Wolverhampton have won (25-1, 12-1 and 6-1) and TEN O’CLOCK, well drawn in stall 5, can take a step forward on her handicap debut.
