APHRODITES ROCK won’t have an issue with the very soft ground on breeding and could be ready to go at the first time of asking. JOHN’S DRAGON also qualifies on this angle in the 3.50.

SARAH’S VERSE has a good record at this time of year, recording form figures in April/May of 1341181521356148 (6-16) for a profit of £21.25. At Bath only her spring record reads 11121614 (5-8), with the latest defeat excusable on account of a poor draw. She can bounce back this afternoon.

The Johnston yard does well with two-year-old fillies on their racecourse debuts, especially in sprints (5f-6f). Substitute was a 14-1 winner on this angle earlier in the week and perhaps EXPENSIVE ROSE can add to the profits.
