Gelded progeny of the sire Cotai Glory do well on the all-weather, landing 43 of their 270 starts (16%) for a profit of £90.53 to a £1 level stake at SP. NORDIC GLORY is five from 20 here at Lingfield (+£33.63) and can go well now re-united with regular pilot William Carson.

LATIN VERSE (system – Postponed, turf, 4yo+)
Progeny of the sire Postponed have a good record on turf (Flat or jumps), with those aged four or older landing 21 of their 102 starts for a profit of £29.88 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 11.53, A/E = 1.82). LATIN VERSE found the company too hot when pulled up in the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham festival and can bounce back to the sort of form that saw him win impressively at Ludlow on his penultimate start, despite racing on the slowest part of the track.

BYTHESAMETOKEN (system – 10yos in veterans’ handicap chases, finished sixth or worse last time out)
Ten-year-olds, the youngest age group eligible to take part in veterans’ handicap chases, outperform their older rivals and the value lies with backing those who finished sixth or worse last time out. This angle has produced 79 winners from 525 bets (15.1%) for a profit of £106.65 (expected winners = 59.75, A/E = 1.32) and BYTHESAMETOKEN is the only qualifier in this 2m3.5f contest.
