Arguably the most famous and dramatic Premier League game ever witnessed came at the Etihad on the final day of the 2011/12 season. Arsenal kept up their top four hopes in the final weeks of the 2016/17 Premier League season with a rather straightforward looking victory against already relegated Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium. Alexis Sanchez scored both goals in north London but he, and his teammates, could and probably should have got themselves on the score sheet more times after racking up 36 shots on Jordan Pickford’s goal.
