Sunday, 18th February
- Sheffield United vs Brighton (14:00)
- Luton vs Manchester United (16:30)
There are just two games on Sunday for fans to get stuck into, with Sheffield United against Brighton providing the early entertainment at Bramall Lane.
Sheffield United are really struggling in the Premier League this season and they look destined to go down after 24 games with the Blades still rock bottom of the table on just 13 points.
Chris Wilder’s side certainly have a tough job on their hands if they are to stay up this year but a win against Brighton on Sunday could be the turning point that Sheffield United need.
Victory last weekend against fellow strugglers Luton shook up the relegation zone and now the Blades are looking for back to back wins in the league for the first time this season.
Brighton on the other hand come into Sunday’s game hoping to get back on track in the league, after a disappointing loss to Tottenham last time out.
The Seagulls went ahead against Spurs, but a goal deep into added time completed the Tottenham comeback and stole all three points away from Brighton.
Sunday’s second and final fixture is Luton vs Manchester United. Although a straightforward win for United may seem likely on paper, Luton have been playing well lately and could cause problems.
The Hatters lost last weekend to Sheffield United, but prior to that the newly promoted side had gone unbeaten in six games across all competitions.
Manchester United have turned their form around lately and could be a tough challenge away from home for Luton on Sunday following three consecutive wins against Aston Villa, Wolves and West Ham.
