After another action-packed midweek of European football, the Premier League is back for gameweek eight and there are six fixtures for fans to enjoy from 12:30 onwards today (Saturday, 7th October), including Manchester United against Brentford.

Premier League Football Today: Full Fixtures For Saturday 7th October 2023

  • Luton vs Tottenham 12:30
  • Burnley vs Chelsea 15:00
  • Everton vs Bournemouth 15:00
  • Fulham vs Sheffield United 15:00
  • Manchester United vs Brentford 15:00
  • Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest 17:30

Saturday’s early kick-off sees Ange Postecoglou and his unbeaten Tottenham side travel to newly-promoted Luton. Spurs are one of two teams remaining in the Premier League to boast an unbeaten record after controversially beating Liverpool, and can move to the top of the table with a win over the Hatters, albeit just for a day if Manchester City beat Arsenal.

Chelsea finally got back to winning ways in the league last Monday with a comfortable 2-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage, and face a trip up north to take on 18th place Burnley at Turf Moor in one of four three o’clock kick-offs.

Still without a victory in the league, Bournemouth will be looking to get the better of Everton at Goodison Park which would likely see them lifted out of the relegation zone.

Like Bournemouth, Sheffield United are without a win in the league and have just one point to their name after seven matches. Under-pressure Paul Heckingbottom will be hoping to turn the Blades’ fortunes around, as they visit Fulham in our third three o’clock kick-off.

And the final three o’clock match sees Manchester United host Brentford following another disappointing defeat in the Champions League at the hands of Galatasaray, which came just four days after being beaten by Crystal Palace in the league.

Speaking of Crystal Palace, they round off our action-packed Saturday as they host Steve Cooper and his Nottingham Forest side, with just three points separating the pair in mid-table.
