Premier League gameweek 20 continues on Monday night with just one exciting Premier League fixture to look forward to, as league leaders Liverpool take on an out of form Newcastle side.

The first game of 2024 will take place on Monday night, as Premier League fans will be treated to what should be a classic between Newcastle and Liverpool at Anfield.
Liverpool’s last game of 2023 was a successful one to say the least, as they secured a relatively comfortable 2-0 win against Burnley which sent them top of the league.
The Reds were able to hold on to top spot heading towards the new year, as Arsenal were shocked at the Emirates by West Ham who beat the Gunners 2-0 on Thursday night.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have been in good form over the winter period, as their unbeaten streak now extends to 12 matches back to the end of September.
Despite remaining undefeated in the league over the past two months, Liverpool will be eager to secure a win against Newcastle on Monday night having drawn five of the 12 games on their unbeaten streak.
While Liverpool boast excellent form coming into the first fixture of 2024, Newcastle look void of ideas at the minute having lost four of their last five games.
The Magpies latest defeat came on Boxing Day against Nottingham Forest, with a Chris Wood hat trick cancelling out an early Alexander Isak penalty.
Eddie Howe’s team have dropped to ninth in the league following their recent poor run of form, with 7 points separating them from the European spots.
