Spanish striker Joselu is set for a stunning return to Real Madrid, the club he left 11 years ago.
The Premier League flop scored just 10 league goals in four years during stints at Stoke City and Newcastle United between 2015-2019, but now look set for a dream return to Madrid.
However, he has since revived his career back in Spain, and is set for a huge move at the age of 33. In 2022, he joined Espanyol, and scored 16 goals in LaLiga last season. Joselu even made his Spain national team debut this year, coming off the bench to score a brace in a dream first appearance against Norway.
Joselu played for Real Madrid’s B Team from 2009-2012, scoring 33 goals. He even played for the first team on just two occasions, scoring in both.
Real Madrid are working on key, final details of Joselu deal in order to get it done in the next days. It’s up to Madrid as deal would happen at very favourable conditions. ⚪️🇪🇸 #RealMadrid

This move comes as Carlo Ancelotti searches for a Karim Benzema replacement, who has recently moved to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad.
Madrid have also been linked with a sensational move for Spurs striker Harry Kane, but that looks unlikely to happen at this stage.
The Spanish giants had Chelsea forward Kai Havertz on their radar, but are unwilling to meet the Blues’ £60m valuation.
Joselu has reportedly agreed personal terms with Los Blancos, with the final details of the deal being worked on. So, the 6’4 forward will likely be playing Champions League football next season, and could even meet his former side in the Magpies.
