The Premier League Darts is back, and the prize money that eight of the world’s best players will battle for has been revealed, with the winner set to take home a huge sum.
On the opening night in Cardiff, teenage sensation Luke Littler will clash with world number one Luke Humphries in a repeat of the 2024 PDC World Championship final.
Millions of darts fans will be keen to see how Littler fares on a weekly basis against the very best in the sport. If his performances in the early stages of the World Series are anything to go by, he’ll be right in the mix come the end of the competition.
Last year’s Premier League Darts winner, Michael van Gerwen, is aiming to clinch his record eighth title. In fact, MVG is the only one of this year’s eight participants to have won the competition previously.
How Much Does The Winner Of The 2024 Premier League Darts Earn?
The total prize pot for the 2024 Premier League Darts is £1,000,000, which will be split between the eight participating players based on how they fare at the end of the tournament.
Every player is guaranteed a minimum of £60,000 for competing in the event. There will also be a £10,000 bonus for the winner of each week’s event, with 16 bonuses up for grabs in total.
Each week, the players will play a mini-tournament, scheduled in a way that ensures each player will meet each other in the first round twice.
Points are allocated to players based on how they perform in these mini-tournaments: a semifinal earns two points, a second-place finish earns three points, and a tournament win earns five points.
The top four with the most points accumulated after 16 weeks will qualify for the play-offs. The winner of these play-offs will be crowned the Premier League Darts champion and go home with a whopping £275,000.

When is the Premier League Darts 2024?
The Premier League Darts will take place every Thursday beginning from 1 February at Cardiff’s Utilita Arena.
It will take place at 17 different venues across the UK and Europe and conclude on Thursday, 23 May at the O2 in London.
