Chelsea are reportedly willing to sell out-of-favour striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Los Angeles Football Club, as the MLS transfer window opens.
The Gabon international has failed to impress under Graham Potter, only contributing to one goal in 11 Premier League appearances. Which has led to the manager not including Aubameyang in Chelsea’s Champions League squad, leaving his future up in the air.
LAFC are the current holders of the MLS Cup and have recently lost their star name, Gareth Bale after he announced his retirement from football. The American side are looking to retain their title, with reports claiming that Aubameyang is their primary target.

Potter justified his decision to the exclude the 30-year-old from his Champions League squad, amidst rumours of the possible transfer.
The Chelsea manager said: “I understand he will be disappointed. It was a tough decision, a tough call. We had three coming in and two had to go out. He was the one that missed out, he’s done nothing wrong at all.”
However Potter still believes that if the striker can maintain motivation then he can still be important for Chelsea.
Potter “Everything is up for grabs. He’s got to keep working, train like he did today and be ready to play because football changes quickly. That’s the nature of the game.”
