Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes believes that Erik ten Hag’s side can win the quadruple following last night’s 2-2 draw with Barcelona.
The Red Devils left the Camp Nou with the tie all square, thanks to a brilliant individual goal from Marcus Rashford and a Joules Kounde own-goal. Meaning it is all to play for in the second leg which is scheduled for February 23rd.
The hosts took the lead against the run of play as Marcos Alonso’s header managed to beat De Gea at his near-post. United then scored twice in five minutes, before Raphinha levelled the tie with a sublime long-range effort.
Scholes was part of the ‘Class Of 92’ that came through the United academy and the midfielder played over 700 matches for his boyhood club. He was also a part of the 1999 treble-winning side, winning the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.
The former England international is now a pundit on BT Sport and made a bold claim about Manchester United’s trophy chances as they are still in four competitions.
Scholes said: “They are alive in all competitions the quadruple is still on. No look, every game is a big game.”

The 48-year-old has been critical of Manchester United over the years during his punditry but insisted he was ‘not joking’ about the chance of a quadruple.
Erik ten Hag will be looking to his next fixture during this relentless run of games, that will see his side play 19 matches in 59 days. United welcome Leicester in the Premier League this Sunday, as the Red Devils look to catch Manchester City and Arsenal.
