Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly concerned over the possible departure of Kylian Mbappe, as move in 2024 could see a staggering £170m loss.
The French international has one-year remaining on his current deal, meaning he would be available on a free transfer next summer.
Losing Mbappe on a free-deal will reportedly put the club in huge financial issues, as it would see an estimated £180m loss – making summer signings unlikely.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from PSG this summer and has attracted interest from Real Madrid. The Parisian side have valued the striker at £180m – a fee that Los Blancos are unwilling to spend.
However, if the club do not sell their star man this summer, he will leave on a free deal in 2024 and Mbappe is unlikely to sign a renewed contract as he is keen to leave the club.
🚨 If Kylian Mbappé leaves PSG for free in 2024, his departure will cause financial problems for the club .
The move would have an impact on Financial Fair Play – so much so that signing Bernardo Silva is currently on stand-by until things become clearer.

The Frenchman has established himself as one Europe’s best players since bursting onto the scene at Monaco in 2017. Becoming PSG’s record goal scorer aged 24, with 212 goals in 260 matches, Mbappe has seen his profile rise tremendously.
However, the 2022-23 campaign was slightly different for the 24-year-old, as PSG failed to improve on previous years. The club’s continued goal of winning the Champions League came to an end after they were swept aside by Bayern Munich in the round of 16.
A host of star players have been confirmed to leave the club, as Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos, confirm their departure just two seasons after joining the Parisian side.
The Argentinian superstar has joined Inter Miami in a revolutionary deal and will play his football outside of Europe for the first time in history.
PSG had reportedly been keen on signing Bernardo Silva this summer, however, the club have put the deal on stand-by until they resolve the Kylian Mbappe saga.
