Wolves Score Twice In Stoppage Time To Beat Spurs 2-1

Tottenham came into the game looking to bounce back from Monday night’s 4-1 loss to Chelsea, and they got off to the perfect start at Molineux.

Brennan Johnson opened the scoring inside just three minutes with his first goal for Spurs, finishing off a lovely move. Dejan Kulusevski produced a moment of brilliance with a terrific flick to set off Pedro Porro on the wing, who squared the ball perfectly for Johnson to turn home.

However, despite being one goal down Wolves did not go out without a fight and created plenty of chances. Guglielmo Vicario made a couple of top saves to deny the hosts, who were knocking on the door ever since going 1-0 down.

Gary O’Neil’s side were by far the more promising attacking side through 90 minutes, and registered 17 shots with four on target and their hard work in front of goal was eventually rewarded.

Pablo Sarabia came off the bench and scored a terrific equaliser, controlling a perfect pass from Matheus Cunha before firing a volley past Vicario, sending Molinuex wild.

The Spaniard was heavily involved with the winner six minutes later, as it was his delightful ball that set up Mario Lemina to net the decisive goal on the 97th minute, completing an incredible comeback.

Ange Postecoglou‘s side had the chance to return to the top of the table, but two defeats in a row see them remain in second place.

According to the best Premier League betting sites, Spurs are currently priced at 22/1 to win the league, meanwhile a much shorter price of 11/8 to finish in the top four.

As for Wolves, they have drifted out to 14/1 to be relegated following their monumental comeback win.
