Twitch is the largest streaming platform with up to 140 million unique monthly visitors. We’re taking a dive into ten of the biggest names in sports who stream on Twitch, including F1 drivers and one of football’s biggest superstars.
10: Meyers Leonard
Sport: NBA player for the Milwaukee Bucks

Meyers Leonard was suspended in March 2021 by former team Miami Heat for using an anti-Semitic slur whilst streaming Call Of Duty on Twitch. He has not streamed since, but a return to the platform is on the cards.
Leonard struggled to find a team after the incident but signed a ten-day contract with the Bucks in February and later signed to stay on until the end of the season.
9: Sean O’Malley

Sean O’Malley is second in the UFC bantamweight rankings and often streams games like Call Of Duty: Warzone in his spare time away from the octagon.
The 28-year-old hasn’t streamed in several months following October’s controversial win at UFC 280 where he defeated Petr Yan on split decision. Despite 25 out of 26 media outlets scoring the fight for Yan, O’Malley took the crown alongside the Fight of the Night bonus.
8: Demetrious Johnson

Demetrious Johnson, known as MightyGaming on Twitch, streams games like The Cycle: Frontier, Tarkov, Skul, PUBG and Apex Legends. With over 176,000 followers, Johnson has streamed for a total of 2,810 hours on the platform.
He has not streamed since September 2022 however and is gearing up for a highly anticipated rematch against Adriano Moraes for the ONE Flyweight Championship in May.
7: Trevor May
Sport: MLB pitcher for the Oakland Athletics

Trevor May, a pitcher for the Oakland Athletics, is also a popular figure on Twitch. May has collaborated with popular gamers such as Ninja, TimTheTatman and CourageJD.
According to May’s Twitch bio, he streams every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday (outside of baseball season). His last stream was on February 8th playing Minecraft, with a peak viewership of 179.
6: Devin Booker

With over 220,000 followers, Devin Booker is one of the most followed active sportsmen on Twitch who frequently streams Call Of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends and NBA 2K.
In his Twitch bio, Booker describes himself as a ‘professional basketball player and avid gamer’. He even details his PC specs!
5: JuJu Smith-Schuster

JuJu Smith-Schuster, wide receiver for the New England Patriots, has been streaming on Twitch since 2017. He is also the founder and CEO of Team Diverge, a gaming and lifestyle organisation that sponsors professional players.
This February, Smith-Schuster averaged 128 viewers and plays games such as Fortnite and Call Of Duty.
4: Thibaut Courtois

Leclerc is famous for a few hilarious moments on streaming, such as his girlfriend donating to his stream to let him know she was locked outside.
2: Lando Norris

Boasting over 1.4 million followers, McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris is one of the most popular streamers on the platform. The 23-year-old regularly plays F1 and iRacing on stream.
In the last month, Norris has streamed for over 12 hours with a peak of 18,223 viewers and an average of 10,011 viewers.
