Next Real Madrid manager odds show Raúl as favourite to takeover from Carlo Ancelotti. Priced at 13/8 to become their manager.
63-year-old Ancelotti has been in charge since 2021, in what is his second spell at the Spanish club.
His first season at the club saw Ancelotti claim the La Liga title and the Champions League, claiming an impressive double.
This season they’ve won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Championship. They seem set to qualify for the next stage of the Champions League after dismantling Liverpool in their first leg.
However, Real Madrid are seven points off their fierce rivals Barcelona in the La Liga table, and it seems as though this might signal an end for Ancelotti.
Who Might Become The Next Real Madrid Manager?
Former player Raúl is favourite with the bookies at 13/8. The former striker is the current manager of Real Madrid B. A step-up the main side seems very possible given the new era the club are entering. Real Madrid are bleeding young players into the team, and they’re keen to use their young players in the B team for that. Raúl will be a familiar face to these players, something that’ll help them settle. He’d also be well welcomed by fans.
Mauricio Pochettino is next on the list at 4/1. Pochettino has been out of a job since leaving PSG. The former Spurs manager is being mentioned in relation to a lot of jobs at the minute. The opportunity to manage a club like Real Madrid may be too attractive to turn down for Poch.
