SportsLens betting experts have been hard at work pricing up the latest next Real Madrid manager odds, which suggest that Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi is the likely option to take over from Carlo Ancelotti.

Real Madrid are preparing for the departure of Ancelotti this summer for a second time with the Italian heavily linked to the Brazilian national team job. “Don Carlo” rejoined Madrid in 2021, guiding the side to a 14th Champions League win in his return season.

Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi has been linked with plenty of top jobs since he joined the Premier League side in 2022. He led them to their first  Europa League qualification after their highest ever top flight finish and the latest next Real Madrid manager odds see him as the current market favourite.

Real Madrid Next Club Odds: Can Los Blancos Lure De Zerbi To La Liga?

Since replacing Graham Potter, De Zerbi (6/4) has made a huge impact at Brighton and the Italian has his team in pole position to progress to the Last-16 of the Europa League. They currently sit eighth in the Premier League, but have failed to win any of their last six league games.

De Zerbi has been praised for his efforts in the South East and Pep Guardiola branded him as “one of the most influential managers in the last 20 years”, which is some compliment from the treble-winning Manchester City boss.

Still only 44, the Seagulls coach could be the perfect fit for this current Madrid side, flourishing with young talent including Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni.

Another linked with a switch to Madrid is Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso (3/1). Having represented Los Blancos in his playing days, he is now making a name for himself on the managerial scene, and his Leverkusen side currently sit top of the Bundesliga, and have not lost a league game all season.

Jose Mourinho  (10/1) looks set to be leaving Roma this summer and it would be no surprise to see the Portuguese manager linked with a return to the Spanish capital, though it is unlikely given he has previously said he wants a “new challenge”.

Zinedine Zidane (20/1) is an outsider in the next Real Madrid manager odds, but has been without a job since leaving the Bernabeu in 2021 and may be looking elsewhere for a new job in management.
