Another player that could be on his way to St James’ is Lazio midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who is set to leave the Serie A side this summer.

The Serbia international has made 340 appearances for Lazio, scoring 69 goals and contributing with 59 assists in the process.

He continues to be an ever-present member in the Lazio midfield, playing over 3000 minutes in all competitions this season.

Newcastle are not the only club interested in the 28-year-old, as Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side look to bolster their midfield next year.

The Gunners have also achieved Champions League qualification and are reportedly set to have a huge summer overhaul. With the likes of Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo being linked with a move to the Emirates next season.
