The video on-demand streaming market has become very crowded over the last ten years and the American company are expected to dominate their rivals again this year.
Netflix’s biggest competition comes from Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Apple TV but it looks unlikely that the trio will be able to top them.

At the time of writing, around 16.7 million households are subscribed to Netflix with Amazon Prime not too far behind on 13 million.
Disney+ boast 7 million subscribers with Apple TV trailing in fourth place on 1.9 million. With that said, Apple TV are the only one of the quartet who have seen a slight increase in sign-ups in recent years.
However, Netflix are expected to register the most UK subscribers in 2024 and the odds of 1/7 truly reflect that. The huge variety of exciting films, series and documentaries continue to steer customers towards them.
Amazon Prime are the biggest challengers to Netflix. They too offer an extensive range of brilliant films, series and documentaries and they can be backed at 5/1.
If you fancy Disney+ and/or Apple TV to register the most UK subscribers in 2024, they are priced at 25/1 and 100/1 respectively.
