Michael Smith World Darts Championship Odds
Michael Smith‘s 2023 saw ‘Bully Boy’ begin the year in style by landing the World Championship, beating Michael van Gerwen in the final and claiming his second major title.
According to the best new UK betting sites, Smith is the fourth favourite to win this year’s tournament in North London – but even he’ll admit his preparation hasn’t been as good as it could’ve been.
He trails only Luke Humphries, Van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price in the betting. There are question marks over the 33-year-old’s ability to go back-to-back, but he loves the Alexandra Palace stage and has been runner-up here twice.
Smith reached the World Grand Prix semi-final earlier this year which he’ll see as a good stepping stone to build on in the World Championship this winter.
