Barcelona manager Xavi has issued heavy praise for Marcus Rashford ahead of Manchester United’s Europa League clash with the La Liga giants.
Marcus Rashford has been in red-hot form since his return from the World Cup, contributing to 29 goals in 34 matches in all competitions. This form has seen him receive praise from his manager, Erik ten Hag, who named the 25-year-old as one of the best in Europe.
In Xavi’s most recent presser, he also shared his admiration for the England international and how he agreed with ten Hag’s comments about Rashford’s recent run.
Xavi said: “In the transition he is very, very dangerous so, yes, we need to take care of all of them but especially Rashford. He’s one of the most dangerous players now in Europe, yeah. He’s very fast, he has a very good at dribbling in one-versus-one.”

Along with his positive words for United’s talisman, the Spaniard also shared how impressed he has been with ten Hag’s work in Manchester. The Dutchman has turned things around quickly in the Premier League whilst winning the hearts of all the Red Devils supporters, something Xavi has noticed.
The Barcelona manager said: “They are excited again, the club, the fan base and also the way they play does a lot. He changes things offensively, defensively, everyone’s working very well, so it’s a tough rival for us and he’s a very interesting coach.”
Ten hag’s side will be travelling to Spain tomorrow with the intention of finishing the tie early and Marcus Rashford will be pivotal in doing so. Leaving Xavi to create a plan that will keep United’s star man quiet over the two-legs.
