Out-of-form Manchester United Winger Antony Gets A Startling Tattoo Of Himself On His Back

Manchester United winger Antony has added a tattoo of himself to his extensive collection of body art, amid poor performances on the pitch.

The Brazilian unveiled a striking tattoo on his back, featuring a detailed portrait of himself in a celebratory pose, commemorating a goal he scored for Ajax.

Known for his penchant for tattoos, Antony has collaborated with artist Bruno Lopes, who has seemingly transformed his back into a canvas, if this Instagram post is anything to go by.

Beyond their aesthetic appeal, Antony’s tattoos serve as windows into his personal journey. From the word ‘favela,’ symbolising his roots in the working-class slums of Brazil, to the depiction of his gold medal from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, each tattoo tells a story of his life, passions, and achievements.

Antony made the switch to the Premier League from Ajax during the summer of 2022 for a hefty £86 million – a price tag which he has unarguably failed to live up to.

The 24-year-old has just one goal and one assist in 28 league matches this season.

Next up for Antony and Erik ten Hag’s side is Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday. United will be hoping to bounce back swiftly from their humiliating 4-0 defeat at Crystal Palace on Monday night.

The Gunners won the reverse fixture 3-1 back in September after some late drama. This time, the Red Devils will be looking to derail Arsenal’s title charge.
