Carabao Cup holders Manchester United are back in action in the fourth round as they welcome fellow Champions League outfit Newcastle to Old Trafford, and ahead of the tie – we’ve got the latest line-ups and team news for both sides coming into the fixture.

The Red Devils’ injury woes are beginning to ease, with the likes of Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka nearing a return, and the pair could stand a chance of being involved against the Magpies this evening.
We cannot say the same for Luke Shaw (muscular), Amad Diallo (knee), Tyrell Malacia (knee), Lisandro Martinez (foot) and Jadon Sancho (disciplinary) however, who have all been ruled out of the clash.
Despite the majority of second choice goalkeepers being handed minutes in cup competitions nowadays, Erik ten Hag failed to do so with Altay Bayindir in the last round against Crystal Palace, sticking with Andre Onana between the sticks, and we expect the same thing to happen this time around.
Newcastle United’s injury struggles have worsened over the last few weeks, with a number of key players confirmed to be unavailable, but regardless – they’ll be out for revenge after losing to the Red Devils in last season’s edition of the Carabao Cup final.
Eddie Howe is without Harvey Barnes (ankle), Elliot Anderson (back), Jacob Murphy (shoulder), Lewis Miley (illness), Alexander Isak (groin) and Sven Botman (knee) due to injury and illness, meanwhile Sandro Tonali misses out after receiving a 10-month ban for gambling breaches.
Isak bagged the winner against Manchester City in the third round, so his absence will undoubtedly be felt, but Callum Wilson is a more than capable replacement having scored four goals in his last four appearances in the Premier League.
