Manchester United could be missing up to 13 players for their vital game against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Liverpool Vs. Manchester United
Manchester United head into their Premier League game against Liverpool on Sunday a club in crisis. Having lost 3-0 to Bournemouth at Old Trafford last weekend and then crashing out of the Champions League on Tuesday night against Bayern Munich, the Red Devils are desperate for a win.
Unfortunately for ten Hag’s side, they have not had a lot of luck at Anfield in recent years. In fact, they have not beaten Liverpool away since January 2016, when Louis van Gaal was still manager.
To make matters worse, the last time United scored at Anfield was in 2018, a 3-1 loss that saw Jose Mourinho sacked following the game.
And finally, just when you think things can’t get any worse, Manchester United’s last trip to Anfield saw Liverpool demolish them 7-0, the Red Devils biggest defeat in their history.

Manchester United Unavailable Players
Unfortunately, there’s more bad news for Manchester United fans. Heading into the fixture, the Red Devils could be without a whopping 13 players.
Tyrell Malacia, Casemiro, Lisandro Martínez, Christian Eriksen, Mason Mount, Victor Lindelof and Amad Diallo were all out injured for United’s Champions League game against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
During that game, both Premier League Player of the Month Harry Maguire and full-back Luke Shaw came off the pitch prematurely because of injury.
Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho has been banished from the squad following his bust-up with ten Hag and Bruno Fernandes picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Bournemouth on Saturday, meaning he is also unavailable.
United fans will be hopeful of the availability of both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, who have both been ill recently. Although, with the way they have both been playing, it could be a blessing in disguise for the Old Trafford club.
