Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund star, Raphael Guerreiro, as the 28-year-old is out of contract this summer.

Dortmund were one win away from clinching the Bundesliga title for the first time in over a decade, however, a 2-2 draw with Mainz 05 saw the title return to Munich.

Star player, Jude Bellingham, did not feature in the club’s final game of the season and has been linked with a staggering £100m move to La Liga giants, Real Madrid.

The England international has made 132 appearances for the German side, contributing to 49 goals in an impressive spell in the Bundesliga.

Bellingham is not the only player that is set for a summer departure, as Raphael Guerreiro is reportedly being targeted by Premier League champions, Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola is on the cusp of completing the historic domestic treble, with only the Champions League title left after winning both the Premier League and FA Cup.

The blue side of Manchester moved one step closer with a 2-1 win over fierce rivals, Manchester United, in yesterday’s FA Cup final.

Despite this successful campaign, Guardiola’s side are preparing for a host of departures this summer, with Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan and Kyle Walker all linked with a move from the Etihad.

With the list of potential exits increasing, the club are reportedly planning to boost their squad this window and Guerreiro could be high on City’s wish list.

The Portuguese international was pivotal in Dortmund’s title chasing season, contributing to 20 goals in 36 Bundesliga appearances – highlighting the quality that has attracted the Man City boss.

Agreeing a deal for the former FC Lorient player may be a simple process, as the 29-year-old’s contract is set to expire within the coming months.
