Arsenal will head into the next five Premier League games top of the table. After a mini slump the Gunners got back on track with a 3-2 away win at Villa last time out and were also helped with Man City dropping points to Nottingham Forest.

Man Utd continued their good run of form with a 3-0 win over Leicester and have closed to within five points of the leaders.

See if you agree with our match verdicts and predicted table (below) after the ‘big three’ have played their next five league games.

Premier League Table As It Stands

  • 1st Arsenal: 54 points (played 23)
  • 2nd Man City: 52 points (played 24)
  • 3rd Man Utd: 49 points (played 24)

Arsenal: Next Five Premier League Fixtures

  • Sat 25th Feb: Leicester vs ARSENAL (3pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Arsenal win (3pts)
  • Weds 1st Mar: ARSENAL vs Everton (7:45pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Arsenal win (3pts)
  • Sat 4th Mar: ARSENAL vs Bournemouth (3:00pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Arsenal win (3pts)
  • Sun 12th Mar: Fulham vs ARSENAL (2:00pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Arsenal win (3pts)
  • Sat 1st April: ARSENAL vs Leeds (3:00pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Arsenal win (3pts)

VERDICT (15pts): With three home games from their next five, then the Gunners have a great chance of getting the maximum 15 points on offer.

Arsenal have decent records against all five sides too. They’ve won their last four vs Leicester, while despite losing to Everton away in February, they’ve actually won 7 of their last 8 at home vs the Toffees.

Arteta’s men are unbeaten in their last 9 vs Fulham too and have only lost once (10 games) to Bournemouth in the league. It’s Leeds last, in this set of matches, and the Gunners head here unbeaten in their last 13 (all comps) vs the Whites.

If these stats continue, then it could be a clean sweep for the Gunners.

Manchester City: Next Five Premier League Fixtures

  • Sat 25th Feb: Bournemouth vs MAN CITY (5:30pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Man City win (3pts)
  • Sat 4th Mar: MAN CITY vs Newcastle (12:30pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Man City win (3pts)
  • Sat 11th Mar: C Palace vs MAN CITY (5:30pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Draw (1pt)
  • Sun 19th Mar: MAN CITY vs West Ham (4:30pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Man City win (3pts)
  • Sat 1st Apr: MAN CITY vs Liverpool (12:30pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Draw (1pt)

VERDICT (11pts): Three home games for City too from their next five – but, in contrast to Arsenal, Pep’s men have some tougher-looking matches on the horizon.

They should be getting off to a win away at Bournemouth – a side they’ve never lost to in the league (17 games).

Newcastle at home is next and after a thrilling 3-3 draw earlier this season, the Magpies have some hope. However, City are in fact unbeaten in their last 8 vs the Toon Army and love scoring against them. They’ve fired in 27 goals in the last 8 head-to-heads (ave of 3.38 per game).

This is where it might get a bit harder for City.

Palace away is the third game for City and with this clash ending 0-0 last season this will give the Eagles encouragement. Palace have actually only lost one of their last three vs City and kept a clean sheet in 2 of their last 3. Could this be a potential banana skin for the champs?

West Ham at home follows and with City unbeaten in their last 14 over the Hammers this doesn’t bode well for the Londoners.

Then, their final match in this run is a tricky home clash with Liverpool. City have only won one of their last 6 vs the Reds and the Merseysiders are also unbeaten in their last 3 league meetings.

Manchester United: Next Five Premier League Fixtures

  • Sun 5th Mar: Liverpool vs MAN UTD (4:30pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Draw (1pt)
  • Sat 11th Mar: MAN UTD vs Southampton (3:00pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Man Utd win (3pts)
  • Sun 19th Mar: Brighton vs MAN UTD (2:00pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Draw (1pt)
  • Sun 2nd Apr: Newcastle vs MAN UTD (4:30pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Draw (1pt)
  • Weds 5th Apr: MAN UTD vs Brentford (8pm) – SportsLens Verdict: Man Utd win (3pts)

VERDICT (9pts): With three of Man Utd’s next five games being away, this will certainly make life harder for the Red Devils.

First up is a tough one too – away at Liverpool. Yes, the Merseysiders are in awful form at the moment, but are sure to pick themselves up for this big rivals clash. Liverpool are also 6 games unbeaten in this home fixture and have lost just 1 of their last 9 league H2H’s vs United.

Southampton at home are next and 3 points is on the cards here with United heading into the game unbeaten in 13 vs the Saints. Plus, let’s not forget the 9-0 thumping in this fixture two seasons ago.

Brighton away won’t be easy either. The Seagulls beat United 2-1 earlier this season too and have actually won their last two vs United.

Newcastle on the road are next and another tough one for Erik ten Hag’s side. Yes, United are unbeaten in their last six vs the Magpies, but it was 0-0 earlier this season and the last two meetings have been draws.

The final match is a home tie vs Brentford and despite the Bees thumping United 4-0 earlier this season they are a better side now. That was United’s only loss in their last 8 vs Brentford and should be getting all 3 points here.
