Despite a late charge towards the Champions League, Jurgen Klopp and his players will be eager to put last season’s transgressions behind them. Liverpool 2023/24 Premier League fixtures have been released, and the Reds will be looking to carry the momentum of their end-of-season form into the new campaign starting in August.
A summer of change is in order at Liverpool with a mass exodus of players giving way to what fans will hope is an influx of new additions.
Brighton’s top scorer last season Alexis Mac Allister could be the first of several new signings as they eye further reinforcements in midfield and defence, but for now all eyes will be on correcting the mistakes of last season.
Their 2023/24 campaign begins at 4:30pm against Chelsea on the 13th August, before facing Bournemouth and Newcastle to round off their opening month.
Having previously gone toe-to-toe with Manchester City in recent season, they will hope to return to their position as their closest challengers after a steep drop off in 2022.
They round off the campaign on the final day against Wolves, which is scheduled for the 19th May 2024.
