Liverpool have turned their attention to Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister, after rumours over a possible Jude Bellingham signing start to cool down.
The Reds have failed to live up to their lofty standards this season, sitting seventh in the Premier League and look unlikely to qualify for Champions League football.
Multiple injuries and poor individual performances seen this sudden decline, with Jurgen Klopp set to have his worst points tally since taking over in 2015.
Following their poor display so far, Klopp’s side have been linked with a multitude of players that would strengthen their squad for next season. With Jude Bellingham being the name on the majority of supporters mind as he continues to impress at Borussia Dortmund.
However, rumours about a possible move for the teenager have started to dwindle, after the Reds were reportedly not keen on the ‘£130m fee that Dortmund have set.

The red side of Merseyside have turned their attention elsewhere and are looking towards Brighton midfielder, Alexis Mac Allister. The Argentine has been superb for the Seagulls this season, whilst being a pivotal member in Argentina’s World Cup winning squad.
Liverpool are expected to sign ‘2/3’ midfield players in the summer and with Mac Allister’s scintillating form, he may be top of their list.
Klopp will face stiff competition from his domestic rivals, as Manchester United and Chelsea are also in the running for the Argentine.
Erik ten Hag has shown his desire to sign a starting midfielder in the summer, with the likes of Fred, Marcel Sabitzer, and Scott McTominay failing to cement a place next to the trusted, Casemiro.
