Lionel Messi scored after just three minutes for PSG against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Riyadh All-Stars, in what is likely to be the legendary duo’s last ever meeting.
The showdown marks Ronaldo’s first appearance in Saudi Arabia but not in an Al-Nassr shirt, instead representing the Riyadh All-Stars – a combination from Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.
PSG started a strong team with Neymar, Messi and Kylian Mbappe up front and took the lead after just three minutes when the World Cup winning captain flicked home past David Ospina.

Messi scores vs Ronaldo, extends head-to-head dominance
Including both domestic and international games, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have locked horns 36 times – first in 2008 during Barcelona and Manchester United’s Champions League semi-final.
The pair spent nine consecutive seasons battling against each other in Spain following Ronaldo’s move to Real Madrid across La Liga and domestic competitions, as well as in Europe.
Prior to today’s PSG vs Riyadh All-Stars game, Messi has scored 22 goals and tallied 12 assists in 16 career wins against Ronaldo compared to the Portuguese forward with 21 goals and one assist in 11 career wins against Messi.
Messi and Ronaldo are two of the most decorated footballers of all-time, combining for 76 major honours (Messi 42, Ronaldo 34) but it appears Messi has won the debate.
Alongside a recent World Cup win, Messi has 11 league titles compared to Ronaldo’s 7, 7 domestic cups compared to Ronaldo’s 6 but the former Manchester United star has one more Champions League (5).
