Leicester City’s downfall in the Premier League continued on Tuesday night, as the Foxes were beaten by a late Bertrand Traore winner for Aston Villa.
It was another night to forget for Leicester fans on Tuesday and it didn’t take long for Aston Villa to open the scoring, as Ollie Watkins watched his shot trickle past Daniel Iversen in goal to break the deadlock for the visitors.
Just ten minuets after going behind however, Harvey Barnes found an equaliser to restore some hope to a struggling Leicester side.

Barnes brought the ball down with an excellent touch before bursting into the box to finish smartly past Emiliano Martinez in goal to level the scores.
Leicester came out all guns blazing in the second half and it briefly looked like the Foxes might be able to finally push on to pick up their first win in seven Premier League games.

Unfortunately for the hosts, the game was completely changed in the 70th minute when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall picked up his second yellow of the game.
The 24-year-old picked up a second caution for a late challenge on Ashley Young and with 20 minutes left to play Aston Villa began a barrage of attacks on the Leicester defence.
Although it looked like Leicester might pick up a crucial point in the battle for survival, Bertrand Traore had other ideas, as the Villa substitute snapped up a loose Wilfred Ndidi pass before curling a beautiful effort over Iversen in goal to secure all three points.

The loss for Leicester means the manageress club sit 19th in the Premier League, just two points off the bottom of the table.
Despite the bleak current outlook for Leicester, there are just six points separating Southampton in 20th and Leeds in 13th so not all hope is lost for the Foxes, who face fellow strugglers Bournemouth next weekend in a huge relegation clash.
