Arsenal got back to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday as they beat Burnley 3-1. Leandro Trossard was the star of the show for the Gunners, recording a goal and assist.
Arsenal Go Second After 3-1 Win Over Burnley
Mikel Arteta‘s side came into the contest in need of bouncing back to winning ways in the Premier League following last weekend’s disappointing 1-0 loss to Newcastle United.
And following their midweek 2-0 win over Sevilla in the Champions League, confidence was somewhat restored.
It took the Gunners a while to get find but they eventually found the breakthrough just before half-time as Leandro Trossard scored his sixth goal of the season. The Belgian forward showed plenty of determination and heart to head his side in front after a lovely cushioned header from Bukayo Saka.

Despite a dominant first half display from Arsenal, Burnley came out in the second half with a different attitude and Josh Brownhill equalised thanks to a splendid run from Luca Koleosho, who kept the ball alive on the wing before sending it into the danger zone.
A bit of fortune and a couple of deflections allowed Brownhill to find the back of the net and Vincent Kompany’s side were back in the game.
However, the visitors were not level for long and Gunners defender William Saliba scored his first of the season nodding in from close range after a delightful corner from Trossard.
Things got even better for Arteta’s side on the 74th minute when Oleksandr Zinchenko scored an outrageous scissor kick to put Arsenal 3-1 up, with the game all but over.

The drama did not stop there though, and Gunners midfielder Fabio Vieira was shown a straight red card after a poor challenge Brownhill. But, being a man down did not give the side too many problems, going on to win 3-1.
Arsenal’s win sends them up to second in the league and they face Brentford in their next game after the international break.
According to the best UK football betting sites, the Gunners are currently priced at 7/1 to win the Premier League, and as short as 1/5 to finish in the top four.
As for Burnley, they are priced at 4/5 to get relegated back to the Championship and remain in the bottom three.
