Chelsea supporters have been left stunned after images of their 2023/24 kit were leaked on social media earlier today.
The Blues are having a difficult season ,as they sit 11th in the Premier League and have the pleasure of facing Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter finals.
However in more exciting news for supporters, Chelsea are expected to don a subtle golden trim next season, similar to their 2013 and 2015 kits.
The jersey is set to have a golden club badge and Adidas logo with the main shirt sponsor also getting the same design too. Rumours are also circulating about a feint ‘criss-cross’ pattern, but this yet to be confirmed.
Twitter was the source of these reported ‘leaked’ images, with the physical evidence showing a white edge to the sleeves and a navy ring around the cuff of the shirt also.

Champions League Hopes?
The use of gold on a football kit has historically been for commemorative shirts, but also to reward a successful season, which the Blues utilised in 2013 after their 2012 UCL victory.
Many teams have introduced a gold trim, however with the current position that the Blues find themselves in it may be slightly confusing for viewers.
However, should the club decided to go with the gold addition then it may highlight their hunger for Graham Potter and his men to lift the Champions League trophy once again.
