Kylian Mbappe has been spotted at PSG’s stadium Parc des Princes tonight ahead of their Ligue 1 opener against Lorient, despite Luis Enrique not selecting the superstar for his squad.

The PSG forward has been at the centre of a transfer saga this summer that has had the whole world on the edge of their seats and he is expected to never play for the club again as a result.

Mbappe told PSG that he would not be forced into a move ahead of this season, even if that means being benched for the entire 2023/24 campaign.

With the Mbappe saga still very much at the forefront of the news, PSG kicked off their Ligue 1 campaign on Saturday afternoon at home against Lorient.

Lorient finished 10th in the league last season and so PSG were heavy betting favourites joining into the game, even without the firepower of Kylian Mbappe to call on.

Mbappe has been spotted at the Parc des Princes today however, as he was seen making his way into the dressing room before the match to support his teammates.

The 24-year-old will play no part in his side’s opener and indeed the rest of their season if he cannot resolve his future ahead of the transfer window’s closure on the 31st August.

Neymar is also looking likely to be on his way out of Paris ahead of next season, with the Brazilian working hard alongside PSG to finalise a move away from France after six years.
