Jurgen Klopp Next Job Odds: Liverpool Manager Tipped To Take Germany Role
The German coach joined Liverpool in October 2015, after a successful seven year period with Borussia Dortmund where he won two Bundesliga titles and a DFB Pokal.
His time in Liverpool has transcended the Premier League, winning a league title, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Many expected the infamous manager to hold the reigns at Liverpool for many more years, however, Klopp has now confirmed his decision to leave at the end of this season.
This leaves a host of questions, who will take over as Liverpool boss? What players will leave Anfield? And what is next for Jurgen Klopp?
In his first presser since confirming the decision to leave, the Liverpool boss said he will never manage another English club and he will not be taking any role for the next year.
However, the veteran manager did not rule out any future jobs and has been tipped to take over as manager of the German national team – being priced at 8/13 .
Julian Nagelsmann is currently the head coach of Germany and is under contract until the end of Euro 2024 – meaning his performance at the competition could prove vital.
Recent form will concern those from Germany, as the national side have won just two of their last 11 matches and are without a win in their last three.
Klopp may prefer the option of a national team, as it requires less commitment than a club, however, Barcelona have been priced at 9/2 as Xavi continues to face criticism.
The Spanish side are currently third after 20 matches and sit eight points of Girona in first – meaning the chance of a managerial shake-up is high.
