There’s no doubt that signing of the summer has to go Real Madrid who signed Jude Bellingham in a deal that could be worth around £115m. He’s been impressing at both club and international level. He’s producing stats that players only manage to do in their prime.

One surprising fact about Jude Bellingham is that he’s been awarded Man Of The Match nine times this season. You might think that he’s surpassed a world record for that number. Nope. Lionel Messi has received the most MOTM (Man of the match) awards in a single season with 34 back in the 2014/15 season. Barcelona won the treble that season too.

Bellingham has 10 goals and 3 assists so far this season including 3 late winners. Liverpool missed a trick with pulling out of signing him in the summer.

Bellingham doesn’t look in a rush to join the Premier League as he’s loving life in sunny Spain. He said after England’s win over Italy:

“I am getting a little better each time I play. It was a really good night for us, we all remember what happened a few years ago when they played us here. You always aim for progression. We are heading in the right direction and a very important win for us. I am loving football at the minute. My management at club and country are giving me freedom to play it how I see it.

“Since the last few months I have been really working on my timing getting into the box and as I am arriving I am arriving with a big hunger. With the big transfer the fact is I have to deliver, whether it is a goal or assist or a match-winning performance.

“This is the club I want to be at for the next 10 to 15 years of my life. I am loving it there. Carlo basically said this position is where he sees me.”

Some England fans believe that he is the key to them winning the Euros next summer in Germany. If he continues his red hot form….it might just be coming home.
