According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in appointing Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, after Christophe Galtier’s disappointing spell in charge.

The former Chelsea manager has found a new lease of life in Serie A, guiding Roma to European glory last season. With the Italian side also progressing to the Europa League semi-final this year.

Mourinho has found himself back amongst the headlines, for both good performances and theatrics that football fans have become accustomed to over the years.

His side are also on track to finish in the top four places and earn Champions League football, a feat that has been made more difficult due to Juventus being reinstated with 15 points following an investigation into the original points deduction.

The ‘Special One’ has been linked with a move elsewhere in recent weeks, with both PSG and Chelsea being interested in the Portuguese coach. However, Mourinho addressed rumours of a move to the French capital in a recent interview.

PSG are having a disappointing season, as they failed to win the UCL once again. An emphatic defeat to Bayern Munich ended the club’s hopes of finally reaching European glory.

Manager, Christophe Galtier, looks set to leave at the end of the season after poor results and a huge dispute with Lionel Messi. The Argentine superstar was suspended for two weeks after an unauthorised absence from training.

A host of elite managers have been linked with the Ligue 1 side, with the likes of Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique topping the wish list – alongside Jose Mourinho.

However, with the former Manchester United manager claiming there has been ‘no contact’ it is unknown whether we will see him in Paris. His contract in Rome ends in 2024 and Mourinho has shown no signs of retirement.
