Jake Paul has confirmed that he will take on professional boxer Tommy Fury, the brother of WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, on February 26 in Saudi Arabia.
This is the third official announcement for Paul vs Fury, with the Brit pulling out of the previous two.
Both fighters signed for a bout in December 2021. Fury claimed that he was unable to compete due to injury and illness, pulling out at late notice.
Their second fight was signed for in August 2022. The showdown was due to take place in New York, but Fury was denied entry into the USA, and so was forced to pull out once more.
Negotiations for a third deal, reportedly with Saudi backers, began late last year, with the pair agreeing on terms for the fight to take place on February 26 in Diriyah.
Paul announced the showdown via Twitter, and had his say on the bout: “Tommy has no excuses now.
“Baby’s born. Money’s massive. Immigration no issue.”
He continued: “Tyson promises he and papa will make Tommy retire from boxing and change his last name if he can’t beat the YouTuber.”
“Tomorrow I’m coming to London to look all three Fury’s in the eye and shake on that promise.”

Paul made further comments in his press release.
“The moment of truth has finally arrived.”
“On February 26, I will get in the ring with a ‘real boxer,’ an 8-0 fighter from a storied fighting family and show the world the truth about who Jake Paul, the boxer, really is.”
Fury replied: “Jake Paul’s boxing career ends on February 26 and I can finally move on with mine. Every time I go out right now, everybody asks me about the Jake Paul fight.
“After this fight is done, everybody will be asking me how it felt to knock Jake Paul out. The world is about to see what happens when a proper boxer faces a YouTuber.”
According to Boxing betting sites, Paul is the favourite to win and is priced at around 8/13. A victory for Fury has been priced at around 11/8.
