Jake Paul and Nate Diaz have confirmed that they will take each other on in a boxing match this Summer in Dallas, as two of the biggest personalities in sport clash in the ring.

The fight was confirmed to be happening on Wednesday, as DAZN gave details of a eight round bout with the weight requirement standing at 185 pounds.

Jake Paul will be looking to get back to winning ways in August, after losing to Tommy Fury by a split decision when he last entered the ring in February earlier this year.

Paul holds a 6-1 record in boxing, with the former YouTuber’s only loss coming against Fury earlier in the year. Many have already speculated at the credibility of the fight this August, as Paul has only fought amateur boxers and retired fighters up until this point.

Facing Paul in the ring will be an opponent who is new to boxing, as former MMA superstar Nate Diaz will make his boxing debut on the 5th of August when he steps into the ring with “The Problem Child”.

Diaz most famously handed Conor McGregor his first loss in the UFC back in 2016 and his career continued to flourish from there, as the California born fighter headlined 10 UFC events during his career.

The 37-year-old officially left the UFC on a high note in September last year, as the veteran beat Tony Ferguson via a submission at UFC 279.

After exchanging trash talk with Paul on social media and in interviews over the past 18 months, the pair finally agreed to fight in August, with Diaz acting as his own promoter for the first time in his career.

The fight is set to be one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, as two bad boys from completely different backgrounds take each other on in Dallas.
