Italy vs England: The Last Time Three Lions Won Away

As England prepare to face Italy this evening for matchday one of their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, Gareth Southgate and his side will be all too aware of their torried record against the Azzuri over the years.

Recent history has resulted in tight, tense affairs with England losing the Euro 2020 final on penalties, before failing to win either of their head-to-heads in the Nations League group games last year (0-0 and 1-0).
