According to Fabrizio Romano, a host of Premier League sides are keen on signing PSV midfielder, Xavi Simons, despite PSG’s ‘£10m’ buy-back clause.
The 20-year-old Dutchman caught the eye during his time in the French capital, as he came through the ranks at Paris Saint-Germain – making 11 appearances for the first-team.
After a lack of playing time in Ligue 1, Simons moved back to Holland on a free transfer and became a regular starter for PSV Eindhoven.
In his opening campaign, the Netherlands international scored 19 goals in the league and has caught the attention of a variety of Premier League sides.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Brighton are reportedly interested in signing the former PSG star, however, the Ligue 1 champions have the option of a ‘buy-back’ clause.
It is unlikely that the French side will activate this clause, however, after Lionel Messi left the club this summer and for only £10m, there is still a chance of a return to Parc des Princes.
🚨 EXCL: Paris Saint-Germain buy back clause for Xavi Simons is just €6m!
It can only be activated in July, from 1 to 31st.
The final decision is ONLY up to the player. He’s waiting to hear from PSG.

One of the keen parties, Arsenal, are set to sign a multitude of players this summer and are reportedly closing in on West Ham midfielder, Declan Rice. This focus on the England international could make any additional transfers difficult, as it could cost up to £100m.
On the other hand, Manchester United are yet to progress with any additions this summer, as the Glazers are yet to make a decision on the proposed sale of the club.
However, Erik ten Hag is said to be a huge admirer of his fellow countryman and United are looking to add an extra midfielder this summer – as negotiations with Mason Mount continue.
A move to the Premier League could still be on the cards, as Roberto De Zerbi and Brighton are said to be monitoring the youngster’s situation.
Simons is under contract until 2027 and could return to PSG at any stage, as the deal would only cost £10m. Meaning Arsenal, United or Brighton will need to act swiftly if they want to finalise a move this summer.
