Graham Potter has turned down a job offer from Ligue 1 side Lyon after meeting with club hierarchy. This comes just five months after he was sacked by Chelsea.
Graham Potter Rejects Lyon Job
The French side are yet to win a game in Ligue 1 this season, and are rock bottom of the league after the first four games.
Laurent Blanc is expected to be sacked following a harrowing 4-1 defeat by Paris Saint-Germain. That result last weekend led to protests inside the stadium from fans after the final whistle.

Potter met with Lyon’s American owner John Textor, but the former Chelsea and Brighton boss does not feel like it is the right time to return to the dugout.
His time at Chelsea came to an end in April after a poor run of form, and he has been linked with multiple jobs since his departure.
Despite spending over £300million in the January transfer window at Stamford Bridge, he was unable to steer them into the top half of the Premier League table. The Blues suffered 11 defeats in the 31 games that Potter was in charge for. However, he did impress at Brighton before taking on the Chelsea job. He led the Seagulls to their first ever top-half finish in 2022 following their promotion in 2017.
Lyon are now eyeing up other targets including former Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui and Reims coach Will Still.
