Wolves travel to Craven Cottage this evening for a Premier League clash with Fulham, with the hosts able to move into European contention with a win.

Fulham vs Wolves Preview

Fulham have been having one of their best ever seasons in the Premier League this year and the club are flying at the minute.

Having won their previous two matches, Fulham are now just three points outside of the top five and have the opportunity to put pressure on Newcastle in fifth with a win on Friday which would bring them level on points with the Magpies.

Wolves have enjoyed a mixed bag of results recently, with the midlands outfit beating Liverpool and Southampton before being brought down to earth by Bournemouth last weekend in disappointing a 1-0 loss.

The loss leaves Wolves just three points clear of the relegation zone, which means that this Friday’s game against Fulham could prove to be a crucial one in the race for survival this season.

Wolves are currently 7/2 with most bookmakers to be relegated from the Premier League this season.

Fulham vs Wolves Team News

The early team news for Fulham is indicating that Aleksandr Mitrovic is expected to miss out yet again with a hamstring injury, as the Serbian continues to be frustrated on the sidelines.

Despite winning without their talisman last week, Fulham didn’t start Brazilian striker Carlos Vinicius against Brighton at the Amex with Harry Wilson starting instead. Vinicius is expected to start the game on Friday however, with Manor Solomon also in contention to start over Bobby Decordova-Reid.

Former Fulham midfielder Mario Lemina will return from a one-game ban and is expected to line up against his former club on Friday night at the expense of Joao Moutinho.

Wolves are still without Sasa Kalajdzic, Hwang Hee-chan, Boubacar Traore and Chiquinho who are all still missing with injuries.
