Fulham are reportedly interested in Manchester United defender, Eric Bailly, as the Ivorian looks set to leave the club this summer.

After a disappointing loan move to Marseille during the 2022-23 campaign, Bailly has failed to catch the eye of Erik ten Hag and is set to be sold this summer.

Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez are all above the Ivory Coast international in Manchester United’s defensive pecking order.

Fulham are reportedly interested in signing the former Villarreal defender, as Marco Silva is keen to bolster his side at Craven Cottage this summer.

A move to Saudi Arabia has also been made a possibility, with a host of players moving to the up and coming league in recent weeks.

The 29-year-old has one year remaining on his current deal in Manchester, meaning any move this summer could cost up to £10m.

After a ninth place finish in the Premier League, the side from west London are preparing for another season in England’s top-flight.

A plethora of activity is expected and the club have reportedly made an approach for another Manchester United player, Fred.

The Brazilian has also attracted interest from Galatasaray, as the Red Devils rejected an initial bid from the Turkish side.

Fulham have also been hit with some shocking news in the opening month of the transfer window, as star man Aleksandar Mitrovic has reportedly vowed to ‘never play for the club again.’

The Serbian international scored 14 goals in England’s top-flight, despite receiving an eight-match ban for a confrontation with a match official.

However, after rejecting two bids from Al-Hilal and valuing the striker at £52m, Mitrovic is reportedly furious and his future at the club could be at serious risk.

Adding Eric Bailly to the club could distract from the recent drama at Craven Cottage and a move could be simple as United are keen to offload the defender.
