Aston Villa are reportedly keen on signing former Wolves star, Adama Traore, who is yet to find a club following his release this summer.
The Spaniard is out of contract after a 5-year spell at Molineux and is yet to find a potential suitor, after attracting interest from a host of European sides.
During the 2022-23 campaign the electric winger made 40 appearances and failed to impress on his return to Wolves, following a loan spell at Barcelona.
Wolves are yet to make a single signing this summer and have lost a host of players, with Ruben Neves, Conor Coady and Nathan Collins all leaving the club.
Manager, Julen Lopetegui guided his side to a 13th place finish last season and will be keen to sign a variety of players to maintain his place in the Midlands.
Adama Traore has now reportedly attracted interest from Premier League side, Aston Villa, who have been extremely proactive this summer.

Unai Emery turned things around at Villa Park after Steven Gerrard was sacked due to a run of poor results. The former Arsenal manager guided the club to European football for the first time in 13 years.
Competing in Europe has made summer additions a necessity and Emery’s side added a host of players to their arsenal, with Pau Torres, Youri Tielemans and Moussa Diaby all moving to Villa Park.
A deal to land the former Wolves star is yet to be agreed, however, with only personal terms needing to be agreed – negotiations could move swiftly this summer.
The Villains are not the only club interested in the pacey winger, as Roma are reportedly preparing a move to land the Spaniard’s signature.
However, Jose Mourinho’s side have slowed down their pursuit of the former Wolves player and may look for alternative options in the coming weeks.
