FPL Heinseberg Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 29

Heung-Min Son

  • Fixture: Fulham, Away

With Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham playing a very attacking style of football, it’s likely there will be plenty of goals when Spurs play – even more so when they come up against a weaker team like Fulham.

Listed as a midfielder in FPL – but playing as Spurs’ number nine – Son looks primed to load on more points in gameweek 29 after his 17-point haul against Aston Villa last week.

He has 14 goals and eight assists this season and his underlying numbers (expected goals and expected assists) are solid too, meaning his returns should be sustainable – especially as he is a clinical finisher too.

It’s also worth noting that Son is the standout captain choice this week; as Tottenham’s chief penalty taker, there are plenty of routes to goals and points this week.

Jarrod Bowen

  • Fixture: Aston Villa, Home

Jarrod Bowen has been in one, continuous purple patch this season, scoring 14 times and registering three assists in the Premier League. He should be buoyed by a dazzling display in Europe in midweek, with a goal and two assists to hand him another boost of confidence heading into this latest gameweek.

It’s not the easiest fixture in the world for West Ham this week, facing a strong Aston Villa side. However, as good as Villa have been they have been shipping goals in the Premier League in recent weeks (11 in five) which bodes well for attacking returns for West Ham players this week.

More later in this article on West Ham as I’ve picked a Hammer for my differential too…

Ollie Watkins

  • Fixture: West Ham, Away

Ollie Watkins has a huge 31 attacking returns this season – 16 goals and 15 assists in 28 games – making him a superb choice once again this gameweek.

West Ham away is by no means an easy fixture but I’m predicting both teams to score in this one, and should Villa score a couple, Watkins is seemingly a shoo-in for involvement.

Watkins is the main man for Villa, both in terms of goal contributions and minutes on the pitch. He’s played 90 minutes in the majority of Premier League games for Aston Villa – this represents potential for late goals which have been frequent this campaign amid the new injury time guidelines.

It is worth noting that he went off injured against Ajax, but, it seems minor enough that he’ll play this weekend.

FPL Differential Tip – Mohammed Kudus

  • Fixture: Aston Villa, Home

Kudus (who is owned by less than 6% of managers at the time of writing) has had a great season so far with six goals and six assists in the Premier League (not to mention his form in Europe too). He’s settled into life in East London very well I think it’s fair to say!

West Ham will be heavily reliant upon the likes of our boy Kudus – as well as Jarrod Bowen – to provide the attacking returns as they are their main two goal threats.

It’s always nice in FPL to have one of the main men in your FPL team as they often perform better than a bit-part player from a bigger club.
