William Buick and Oisin Murphy both have six rides booked at different meetings tonight as the race for the Flat Jockeys Championship heats up.
Tight At The Top Of Flat Jockeys Championship Race
The Flat Jockeys Championship is decided on winners of both Flat and All Weather races taking place from the Guineas Festival on Saturday 6th May 2023 to British Champions Day at Ascot on Saturday 21st October 2023.
William Buick will hope to emulate the success he had last year, but as of now the margin is a lot shorter than last season’s. The Godolphin stable jockey ran away with the title last season with 157 winners, which was 66 more than his closest rival.
Three-time Champion Jockey Oisin Murphy will look to regain the crown won in three consecutive years from 2019-2021, and he’s only one win behind Buick in the current standings.
Both jockeys have six rides tonight, with Buick riding at Windsor, and Murphy riding at Wolverhampton.
