Fabrizio Romano has shared his thoughts about the future of well sought after talent, Gabri Veiga.

The Celta Vigo man has impressed this season. So much, so he’s attracted attention from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

As you’d expect. Premier League clubs are circling in on Veiga ahead of the summer transfer window. It’s rumoured that Premier League leaders Arsenal, along with recent EFL Cup finalists Man United and Newcastle United are interested in the midfielder.

Despite the pull power of the Premier League, Romano is doubtful Veiga will make a move this summer:

“Some Arsenal fans have asked me about links with Celta Vigo youngster Gabri Veiga,

“However, I think it’s way too early before linking him with big clubs like this. I’m told four or five top clubs scouts are monitoring him as Veiga is a top talent and he’s doing great La Liga, but it’s something for the future, not present.”

It sounds like interested clubs may have to wait patiently to see if Veiga will make the move to leave Celta Vigo this summer. However, the decision will ultimately fall with the player himself.

Who Is Veiga?

The young Spanish midfielder has impressed since being promoted for Celta Vigo B last summer.

This season Veiga played 22 games, scoring eight and assisting three. At just 20-years-old his attacking threat from midfield is clear for everyone to see. It’s no surprise he’s got some of the top teams in Europe eyeing a move for him.

The Spaniard may be in for an exciting summer if he decides to make the move to a new club. His future will be one key talking across Europe.
